This was an accident. I never had big dreams of creating a tool that renames files based on a holistic worldview. This all came from an issue I kept running into. My downloads folder was pretty organized, but I had no idea which files were talking to each other. So I started studying how my files connected.
I began to notice a pattern. Certain files focused on planning and strategy. Others were budgets and lists of learning resources. I started to see the roles they were playing. So I refined it. I tested it against things like a Fortune 500 company and an oak tree. The pattern seemed to hold up in both realms.
I named the pattern the ECOSystem: Everything is Connected. One System.
Like an optical illusion, once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it. I saw it in everything from business to religion to nature. The ECOSystem is a blueprint for how things relate and work together. It's a system of vibrancy and collaboration.
The purpose of this tool is to help you see the world through the ECOSystem. If it does its job, you'll see the pattern manifest in your PDFs, and then you'll start to see it everywhere. You'll understand the silent systems that make up our lives. This tool is like philosophical training wheels. I hope you graduate from needing it.
